Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, IncAndy's father is currently incarcerated and struggles with addiction, while his mother's whereabouts are unknown due to an active warrant for her arrest. He is now living with his grandmother. Because of difficulties in getting him registered at a school, he is being homeschooled. Andy has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and is significantly behind in his studies due to the frequent school transfers he experienced before moving in with his grandmother. However, he is determined to catch up in school and eager to learn. Andy is excited about living with his grandmother, as it brings much-needed stability to his life.
Andy is currently sleeping on an air mattress because he gave his bed to his brother. He’s hoping to get a new mattress along with his bed frame, as he has never owned a new bed before. Having a proper mattress would make a significant difference in his sleep quality and help him enjoy restful nights.
