Sam takes pride in being a protector of the underdog. She actively takes a stand against bullying and believes that people should be treated equally. Sam's heroic stance is much like the superheroes that she has grown to love. She dreams of meeting Stan Lee someday and hopes to attend the Comic-Con event. Sam doesn't think she would ever have the opportunity because she is in group care. She has expressed that she has lost out on so many opportunities and states that this will just be another thing that she has to wait until she is on her own to do. Sam has a Christmas birthday and states that she has always had Christmas/birthday gifts. This will be a gift that would specifically celebrate her birthday.
