Leo is a kind young boy who likes bugs. He is currently in foster care and likes to talk bugs with his caregivers. He is autistic and likes to educate others about being on the spectrum. Leo is currently part of a on the spectrum support group for youth. He has made many friends and they enjoy sharing their hobbies with each other. Leo is currently learning about insects. He has many insect books at home. He reads them with his caregiver after dinner.

Leo is hoping to get his own iPad, as he has never had one and feels it puts him at a disadvantage both socially and therapeutically. Many of his peers own iPads and use them to play games and connect with each other, which often leaves Leo feeling isolated. Most importantly, Leo participates in telehealth services, and having his own device would significantly enhance his experience. It would allow him to attend his sessions privately and comfortably in his room, promoting better focus, confidentiality, and engagement in his care. Owning an iPad would not only support Leo’s emotional well-being but also help him feel more connected to his peers and fully involved in his telehealth sessions in a safe and appropriate environment.
