Skyla is very shy and is learning to communicate in a world that feels different from others. She has enjoyed watching Cocomelon in sign language and loves princesses. As she is in foster care, Skyla is also adjusting to being in a placement away from her parents.

Before coming into care, Skyla was accustomed to drinking sugary beverages. Her foster family is working to encourage her to drink more water. Skyla wants to get a water bottle to take with her to preschool, which will help her increase her water intake.
