CASA IN - Gibson CountyKeatyn is a kind young man who is all too familiar with the child welfare system. He has been moved around frequently due to his parents' drug addiction. As soon as one case with the Department of Child Services (DCS) closes, a new one often opens shortly after. Keatyn lacks strong family support, and everything seems to fall apart quickly. He longs to feel like he belongs somewhere. He attends school online and enjoys playing basketball.
Keatyn has been in DCS care for a couple of months and has already experienced three different family placements. Unfortunately, these transitions are not due to any fault of his own, but they have resulted in him losing his belongings each time he moves, often with very little notice. Amidst all this instability, Keatyn has expressed a strong desire to have some shirts to wear that can provide him with a sense of comfort and continuity.
