AZ DCS - Mohave CountyBrooklyn entered this world battling for her life and continues to do so with remarkable spirit. Born exposed to fentanyl, THC, and methadone, she arrived with just one lung, and her heart is positioned backward where her missing lung should be. Despite these serious challenges, Brooklyn surprises everyone with her joy and resilience, radiating happiness as she navigates her medical issues.
Brooklyn has truly come a long way in her recovery journey. She’s now able to enjoy pureed foods without using a GI tube, which is a big deal! While she still needs a bit of help to sit up, a high chair will be a great support at mealtime, allowing her to enjoy each bite comfortably. This change not only shows how much progress she’s made but also helps her feel a bit more independent as she dives into this new culinary experience.
