Arcadia University- H.O.M.E. Program

Jordan is a college student who grew up in foster care. He loves sports, vinyl records, and is a huge Eagles fan. He entered care in fifth grade during a time when he felt like no one had his back. Now he is an RA, supporting other students and building a life that looks nothing like where he started.

Jordan is really excited about his upcoming Preview trip to Scotland, which will be his first time traveling outside the country. He wants a camera not just for the stunning sights of Edinburgh and Glasgow, but to capture the moments that will mean so much to him as he looks back on this experience. This trip is a big step for him, and having a camera would allow him to document his journey and reflect on how far he’s come. He dreams of using it not just during the trip, but also to take fun photos of friends around campus and during his flag football games. Every summer, he loves photographing local games and sharing those memories with players, building a sense of community through his images. For Jordan, a camera isn’t just a gadget; it’s a way to express himself and create lasting connections with the people and moments that matter.
