After spending time in kinship care, Gabriella eventually aged out of the foster care system and began living with a close friend while learning how to navigate adulthood on her own. Shortly after, Gabriella embraced motherhood. Becoming a parent was a turning point in her life. A moment that deeply impacted her motivated her to make important changes and fully commit to creating a stable and positive future for her daughter. Gabriella relocated to a new state to begin a fresh chapter. She is actively working through the steps necessary to regain permanent custody of her daughter and currently maintains visitation while continuing to demonstrate her dedication as a parent. Gabriella is focused on building stability, strengthening her relationship with her daughter, and creating joyful memories together. She works hard every day to prove that she is ready to provide the loving and supportive life her daughter deserves.

Gabriella is a devoted mother who is working hard to rebuild stability for herself and her daughter. Her daughter has spent time in kinship care with her grandmother while Gabriella works through the steps needed to reunify their family. This summer, Gabriella's daughter will have the opportunity to visit Disneyland with family members. While Gabriella may not be able to attend the trip herself, she wants to make sure her daughter still feels supported and knows that her mom played a part in helping make the experience special. Gabriella would love for her daughter to have a small amount of spending money during the trip so she can choose a few souvenirs or special items for herself. Being able to pick something out and pay for it on her own would help make the experience even more meaningful and memorable.
