Currently thriving in a housing program, she demonstrates incredible responsibility by balancing a medical program during the week with work on the weekends. In her downtime, Joanna loves exploring new foods, relaxing at the beach, and doing her makeup to unwind. Joanna is a determined and resilient young woman who continues to push forward even when life presents unexpected challenges. Recently, Joanna exited her EMT program due to personal circumstances she prefers to keep private. Prior to leaving the program, she had already made the decision to leave her job so she could fully focus on completing her training. As a result, she is currently without an income. Despite this setback, Joanna has not allowed the situation to hold her back. Over the past two weeks, she has been actively applying to multiple retail and flower shop positions, showing strong motivation to get back to work as soon as possible. Her goal is to regain stability so she can cover her basic needs, including groceries and transportation costs. Joanna is also taking responsible steps to access additional support by applying for food stamps, but she is currently waiting for the approval process to be completed. In the meantime, groceries have become a major source of stress while she works toward securing employment and assistance.
