Edina has always set high hopes for herself, even as a child. After being placed in foster care at the age of 12, she remained determined to become someone unique, not just another statistic. She has truly beaten the odds! Today, Edina is a proud mother to her sweet daughter. She is passionate about ASL and works hard to connect former foster youth with academic resources. Her dream is to travel the world, teaching sign language to those who are deaf and lack access to education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, visiting the park, traveling, and learning American Sign Language.

Edina was recently diagnosed with cancer and is courageously navigating frequent doctor visits and chemotherapy treatments. Because of these appointments, she has been unable to work her full hours, making everyday essentials more challenging to manage. This would make a meaningful difference by helping Edina with the cost of everyday essentials. This support would help ensure she can focus on what matters most right now: her health and healing.
