Jacob was in foster care since the age of 12. He has overcome a lot of tragedy and grief in his young life and has become a man of strong character. He has emancipated himself from foster care and is a hard-working father who has his children residing with him. He loves his two babies and cares for his family in his time away from work. He is such a hard worker that he is known by his co-workers as “Super-Jake”. He is always willing to take on challenging jobs and even returns to his former transitional housing program to offer help and mentor other transitional-aged youth. Jake is also going to college part-time online.

Jacob has just moved into his new apartment, ready to start fresh and carve out his own space. However, he finds himself missing one essential item—a reliable cookware set. This new addition would not only help him whip up healthy meals but also save him money in the long run. More importantly, it would bring a sense of warmth and comfort to his new home. As he embarks on this journey toward independence, having the right cookware would mean so much to him, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like his own.
