Mikey was recently adopted by his sister! He is the youngest sibling and has had a number of medical challenges throughout his life. Mikey has had a brain and spinal malformation, and he has spent a lot of time in occupational, physical, and speech therapy to help him meet his developmental milestones and keep up in school. Mikey has grown so much over the years and is so sweet and respectful. He loves Legos, video games, and helping care for his baby nieces.

Mikey is a die-hard Phillies fan! He loves watching their games on TV and dreams of one day playing for the Phillies. His family struggles to make ends meet and rarely has extra money to buy tickets to games. Last year, he received free tickets from his school to see the Iron Pigs, and since then, he has been begging his sister to take him to an actual Phillies game. Fulfilling this wish would make Mikey's dreams come true!
