Michael is a kind boy who has faced numerous challenges in his young life. His father has been incarcerated, and due to a drug raid, he was separated from his mother and siblings. Tragically, just a few months later, Michael's mother passed away. Throughout his time in foster care, he has experienced five different placements. Despite everything, he loves superheroes and enjoys spending as much time as possible playing outdoors.

Michael has been experiencing grief related to the loss of his mother and has had difficulty finding stability since her passing. He recently transitioned to a new resource home, and this change has contributed to feelings of sadness and anxiety as he adjusts to his new environment. One meaningful source of comfort for Michael is Starbucks. His favorite treats are the marshmallow dream bar and the crispy grilled cheese sandwich. These foods hold special significance because his mother would take him to Starbucks on special occasions.
