Asami is remarkable and known for her strength and resilience. She entered care at just two weeks old due to severe abuse and wasn't expected to survive. Asami is deaf in one ear and blind in one eye, and she has cerebral palsy from a traumatic brain injury. She cannot walk and needs constant care and medical support. Despite her challenges, Asami has already made incredible progress and inspires those around her. Her ongoing needs require specialized assistance for daily activities.

Asami needs a new pair of zip-up shoes that will fit comfortably over her leg braces. Since she wears braces every day, it can be very difficult to find shoes that fit well and are easy to put on. Having shoes like this would help her feel more comfortable, confident, and independent.
