Asami is remarkable and known for her strength and resilience. She entered care at just two weeks old due to severe abuse and wasn't expected to survive. Asami is deaf in one ear and blind in one eye, and she has cerebral palsy from a traumatic brain injury. She cannot walk and needs constant care and medical support.
