Crystal is truly one of a kind. As an awesome big sister with a deep love for animals, she aspires to become a veterinarian. In 2024, her life changed dramatically when she and her dad narrowly escaped a devastating fire that claimed two loved ones. Though they suffered minor burns, Crystal faced sleepless nights and PTSD, having lost many personal belongings and spent weeks without a stable home. She later reunited with her mom, who has had her own medical issues, including brain surgery, and has limited income. Together, they care for Crystal’s younger half-sibling and their cherished dog. Despite the challenges, Crystal finds joy in playing with her dog, going to the movies, and making jewelry. Her favorite color is blue, and she has a special fondness for Hello Kitty. Through it all, Crystal’s resilience and spirit shine brightly, reflecting her strength and compassion.

Crystal is a really special person. Lately, she's been thinking a lot about her dad and the fact that he's no longer here. Even though her mom is having health problems, Crystal really wants to take her out on Mother’s Day. She understands the pain of losing a parent, so she wants to take the time to show her mom just how much she loves and appreciates her!
