Robert is a creative young man who recently entered foster care after being removed from his home due to neglect and abuse. As the oldest of four siblings, he has faced significant challenges in his life. Robert struggles with some health conditions that contribute to his being underweight for his age. He also has a learning disability and an anxiety disorder, which can make navigating life a bit more difficult for him. Despite these challenges, Robert has a passion for sports, particularly basketball and football, and he enjoys dancing. He is shy by nature, but his fantastic smile reveals a spark of joy that shines through. Robert is determined to overcome his obstacles and find happiness in his new situation.

Robert is currently in foster care and has experienced failure to thrive before entering the system. Recently, it was determined that he has an intellectual disability (ID) and emotional disturbance (ED), which will require additional support as he is being advanced from the fourth grade to the sixth grade due to his age. Unfortunately, Robert is not prepared for this transition. Although tutoring subscriptions and lessons have been provided to him, he still needs a laptop to access these resources effectively. This laptop wil help him catch up to his classmates.
