Rosie is a young adult who is living in her first apartment. She is adjusting to being on her own after foster care. She has a cat who helps her emotionally. Rosie is working on getting her GED and is also interested in working in the film industry.

Rosie is a very resilient young lady who grew up in the foster care system in NY. She finally landed a city job and is excited to be more financially independent again. Unfortunately, her income is not enough to afford some essentials. Most of her paycheck goes to food, transportation, and utilities. She also has some health conditions that become aggravated with intense heat. Rosie is afraid that this summer will be a scorcher and she will not be able to handle the heat. Please consider helping her stay cool during this upcoming summer.
