Arcadia University- H.O.M.E. ProgramRayna is a creative, curious, and passionate young adult studying Media and Communications at Arcadia University. They enjoy anime, journaling, manga, music, video games, and tarot and oracle readings. At nine years old, they entered the foster care system and faced many challenges, including turning to shelters when a foster home was no longer safe. Despite the mental, physical, and financial difficulties of adjusting to life after foster care, Rayna has shown remarkable resilience, working through their experiences with the help of therapy and a strong determination to heal. Those who know them see their strength, kindness, and ability to find joy in the things they love, even after all they have been through.
Rayna is asking for a cookware set for their new on-campus apartment. Now that they are back from studying abroad in London and have a kitchen to cook in, they have discovered how much they enjoy cooking and would love a set that allows them to fully use their space. Having their own cookware would not only support this interest but also reflect an exciting step toward their independence and the ability to walk into adulthood doing things like cooking for themselves in their own kitchen.
