Jason is an adorable and very curious little boy who has a genetic disorder called HADDS, which causes developmental delays. He was also exposed to substances in utero and has a diagnosis of autism. Jason was adopted by a wonderful woman, who had previously adopted his older brother, Eddie. She is a devout Mennonite single mother who cares for her children with special needs very thoroughly and with deep compassion from a place of love.

Jason is being raised by his adoptive mother. In September 2025, Samantha was involved in a car accident and has been unable to work due to back injuries. Jason would greatly benefit from summer toys that address his recreational, sensory, and emotional needs. He struggles with self-regulation due to his special needs, and having his own sensory sit and spin could help him manage his emotions and potentially prevent further meltdowns.
