A printer for Gabriela’s in-home daycare
Gabriela, 20 years old, CA
Wish submitted by:
San Diego Youth ServicesGabriela is an independent, goal-focused young woman who has shown incredible determination. She has always loved working with children, and after spending over three years at a local daycare, she recently achieved her dream of opening her own in-home daycare business. Looking ahead, Gabriela plans to attend community college to continue growing her career in early childhood education. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, walking her dog, and spending time with friends.
As Gabriela grows her daycare, she needs a printer to help with her business and daily tasks. She wants to advertise her services in the community by making and handing out flyers to reach new families. A printer is also important for her day-to-day work. She would use it to print enrollment forms, emergency contact sheets, attendance records, contracts, lesson plans, and other required paperwork. She also plans to use it for the children in her care by printing learning activities like coloring pages, alphabet and number sheets, and simple educational games. A printer would help Gabriela stay organized, professional, and better support the children she works with every day.

"Gaberial wants you to know that this printer is going to help her a lot because when she has to print documents or activities for her daycare children she is able to out of the comfort of her home.
