Marksboro Community ChurchObed is a very bright boy who has autism and a remarkable talent for numbers. He is an exceptional math wizard and takes great pride in his math and map-reading abilities. His foster mom says she has never gotten lost while driving with Obed; he always corrects her if she misses a turn. He enjoys spending time with his cousins and friends and is always on the lookout for fun activities. Obed likes riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, reading to his siblings, and playing gaga ball.
Obed is hoping for his own pair of bowling shoes so he can fully participate in New Jersey’s Kids Bowl Free program. While the games are free, the cost of renting shoes each time makes it difficult for him to go as often as he’d like. Having his own shoes would allow him to join his friends and family regularly and enjoy a fun, active pastime.
