An iPad for Caleb to be successful in college
Caleb, 20 years old, CA
Wish submitted by:
Strength Based Community Change (SBCC)Caleb entered foster care as a teenager and has faced a lot of challenges with different placements. Despite the ups and downs, he’s shown amazing strength and has come a long way. Recently, he found a safe and supportive home where he truly feels happy, marking a hopeful change in his life. Music is a big passion for Caleb. It brings him joy and allows him to express himself, whether he’s listening, playing an instrument, or discovering new sounds. He also enjoys gardening, which helps him connect with nature and gives him a sense of accomplishment as he watches things grow. What makes Caleb stand out is his positive outlook, his kind heart, and his ability to find joy in the little things, even after everything he’s been through. He not only bounces back from tough times but is also open to healing and finding happiness. Caleb is a special and inspiring young man with a bright future ahead. One of Caleb’s best qualities is his care for others. He always puts people first and finds joy in making others happy. Whether it’s sharing a smile, offering a helping hand, or saying something nice, his kindness and empathy are evident in everything he does.
Caleb is doing very well in school and getting ready for an important transition into college. As he continues to grow academically, an iPad would be a helpful tool to support his success. It would allow him to take notes, stay organized, complete assignments, and access school resources more easily at home and in class. Beyond school, Caleb is also interested in music. An iPad would give him a way to explore music apps, create, and find new ways to express himself. Overall, it would support both his education and his personal interests as he works toward his future goals.
