Layla was placed in her grandma’s care because her biological mother is struggling with active addiction. Layla is a healthy girl who has a twin brother named Liam. They were born early and spent time in the NICU before going home. Layla is now becoming very mobile and active. She loves playtime with her twin brother, cuddling with her stuffed bear, and spending time with her grandma.

Layla needs her own bed and a safe place to sleep. Right now, she is co-sleeping with her grandma. A new crib would give Layla a safe and comfortable space of her own while helping her become more independent. It would also give grandma peace of mind knowing Layla is sleeping safely and getting the rest she needs during this important stage of growth. This crib can also be converted into a toddler bed, allowing Layla to use it for many years.
