Kay is a strong and confident young lady. Despite her experience in the system, she remains humble. Her goal in life is to get her LSW and LCSW and start a nonprofit. She graduated with her master's degree at 23 and went on to her doctorate degree. She is big on self-care and loves cleaning and working out. She loves to strengthen her knowledge and understanding. Although she had to experience the system, she wants to show not just herself but others that anything is possible.

Kay moved through five different homes during her time in foster care, which taught her how important stability, safety, and comfort are for a child. Now as a mother, she works hard to give her child the secure and comfortable environment she did not always have growing up. Kay is hoping to receive a bed frame for her child, who currently does not have one, so she can help create a safe and stable sleeping space.
