Kent is a wonderful young boy who has a strong mother. She's a single parent, working hard to make a living while going to community college for the first time. His father is not in the picture, as he has a history of violence and was locked up after trying to hurt them. This has left a hole in their lives, but they are learning to cope together. Kent doesn't have any diagnosed learning disabilities, but he goes to speech therapy to help with his hearing and speaking. His mom relies on public assistance, working hard to get support for their medical care, food, and Kent’s weekly therapy appointments. Even with all these challenges, Kent is a bright, shy boy with a great curiosity about the world. He loves dinosaurs, bubbles, climbing, and the fun songs from "CoComelon." He enjoys playing in the sand at the beach and has a special love for small animals, especially little dogs.

With his birthday coming up soon, Kent has asked for a bike, but that means he will need a helmet and knee pads. Having this safety gear would help protect him while he plays and encourage him to stay active and healthy. This gift would be an exciting birthday surprise and would bring him so much joy while supporting his love for play and adventure.
