KFS&CTucker is a remarkable young man who is autistic and nonverbal and has faced immense challenges in his life. After being struck by a car as a teenager a near-fatal accident that left him with broken bones and the need for physical therapy, Tucker's life changed dramatically. He communicates using a device and continues to grapple with lifting items. Tucker loves fishing, dancing, and upbeat music. He lives with his elderly mother, who is 72 and battling health issues, relying on a home health aide for assistance. Their low household income has made life increasingly difficult since the heartbreaking losses of Tucker's father and sister. His mother lives in fear of leaving her disabled son without support, a worry that deeply weighs on her heart. Yet, through the pain and struggle, Tucker’s spirit shines bright, a testament to the strength of resilience in the face of life’s harshest trials
Tucker is an amazing young man with autism who faces sensory issues and becomes anxious during long car trips. Currently, he lives with his aunt in New Jersey while his mom, a senior, has recently moved to Virginia. Tucker has been waiting until his mom can afford a flight for him to join her in their new home. Tucker's aunt is willing to bring him to Virginia but won't be available to travel until next month. To help facilitate Tucker's journey, he is in need of assistance to cover his plane ticket. This support would not only ease Tucker's anxiety about traveling but also provide his mom with peace of mind, knowing that her son has arrived safely and comfortably in their new home.
