Steven is a loving, smart little boy who has spent most of his life in foster care. He now lives with his stepmother, who is considered kin and is in the process of adopting him. She primarily speaks Spanish and loves Steven deeply. He also lives with his sister, which brings him comfort and stability. Steven has a diagnosis of autism and works very hard every day. Communication and daily routines like getting dressed, getting ready for school, or turning off the TV can be challenging for him, but with patience and support, he continues to grow. Steven loves watching TV, thrives with routine, and is incredibly sweet, gentle, and caring. He previously lived in a therapeutic foster home and is now in a safe, loving environment where he is supported and deeply cared for.

Steven wishes for a sensory chair to help him feel calm, safe, and regulated at home. Due to his autism, sitting still for activities like watching a movie, relaxing, or focusing on daily tasks can be very difficult for him. A sensory chair would provide the movement and comfort his body needs while helping him stay engaged and occupied in a safe way. Steven is a sweet and loving little boy who benefits greatly from sensory support and routine. Having a sensory chair would give him a comforting space to relax, self-soothe, and enjoy activities with his family while reducing stress and frustration at home. This special chair would make a tremendous difference in helping Steven feel more comfortable and supported each day.
