Sy faced numerous challenges while growing up, which forced him to mature earlier than most of his peers. Stability was not always guaranteed, and there were times when he had to navigate difficulties on his own with limited support. Despite these obstacles, Sy is a determined young man pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. His passion for engineering was inspired by the time he spent working on cars with his grandfather, whom he affectionately calls “Papa.” This experience instilled in him a deep respect for hard work. Sy has also overcome significant personal challenges, including childhood obesity. Through relentless dedication, he transformed his lifestyle and became a strong and athletic young man. In his rare moments of free time, Sy enjoys working out, shooting hoops, making music on his computer, and playing video games.

Sy is looking forward to his summer job at a BBQ smokehouse during his break from Southern U A&M. However, he’s facing a significant challenge after a recent car accident left him without transportation. Sy wishes for an ebike with pedals to help him commute to work and stay active, as he has limited access to the school gym during the summer months. Getting to work has become a struggle for Sy, as he often has to travel a considerable distance while trying to coordinate rides or find reliable transportation. This ongoing challenge adds unnecessary stress to his daily life, making it difficult to focus on his job and well-being. Receiving an ebike would truly mean the world to Sy. It would alleviate a major burden and allow him to commute more easily, enabling him to channel his energy into work and maintain his fitness. Ultimately, it would provide him with the freedom and peace of mind he desperately needs during this challenging time.
