A few easy meals for Aubrey who is balancing work and school

CA DCFS - Los Angeles CountyAubrey has been in foster care since she was 2 years old due to her parents abandoning her. Recently, she faced another setback when her aunt, who had been her caregiver since she was a toddler, also abandoned her. Now in a new foster home, Aubrey holds onto the hope that she can one day take care of herself and live independently. She is particularly interested in joining the military, believing it offers her the best opportunity to become successful and develop strength as an individual. In addition to her aspirations, Aubrey has a passion for the arts. Music serves as her therapy, providing an escape from the stressors she faces in life.
Aubrey has been very responsible with her grocery shopping, managing her savings effectively while balancing both her job and school responsibilities. She has done a great job staying organized and making thoughtful choices with her budget. She would really enjoy the opportunity to order food instead of cooking all the time and is hoping for some easy, ready-made meals that she isn’t able to prepare for herself. This would allow her to enjoy a few hot meals and take some of the daily pressure off her plate, giving her a small but meaningful break in her routine. This is wish 1 of 2, so that Aubrey can order a few meals!
