Kahalley has had a difficult start in life. She lost her mother to pancreatic cancer and later her grandmother to health issues. After these losses, she entered a residential facility and is now preparing for the transition into independent living. As she approaches this important milestone, she is working hard to build the skills and confidence needed to navigate adulthood successfully. She is focused on creating a stable future for herself and is learning how to manage the responsibilities that come with increased independence. Kahalley does not have a large support system. She finds support mainly through her caseworker and a few friends from the residential facility.

Kahalley is requesting a helmet to keep her safe while riding an eBike she is hoping for. As she builds her independence and travels to work or other important destinations, having proper safety gear will help her feel more secure and confident on the road.
