Kahalley has had a difficult start in life. She lost her mother to pancreatic cancer and later her grandmother to health issues. After these losses, she entered a residential facility and is now preparing for the transition into independent living. As she approaches this important milestone, she is working hard to build the skills and confidence needed to navigate adulthood successfully. She is focused on creating a stable future for herself and is learning how to manage the responsibilities that come with increased independence. Kahalley does not have a large support system. She finds support mainly through her caseworker and a few friends from the residential facility.

Kahalley is currently in a residential facility where she does not have the ability to leave freely. She is preparing to transition to another residential setting that will allow her more freedom to go out, seek employment, and begin building greater independence. An e-bike would be a highly beneficial resource for Kahalley during this transition into independent living. It would provide her with reliable and consistent transportation, allowing her to get to work on time without relying on others or limited public transit options. Having her own transportation would also give her a greater sense of freedom and independence as she begins building her adult life. In addition, an e-bike would help reduce financial strain compared to owning and maintaining a car, while also expanding her access to job opportunities, education, and community resources that may otherwise be difficult to reach. Overall, an e-bike would support Kahalley in building stability, responsibility, and confidence as she steps into this next stage of independence.
