Katie has spent the last several years in foster care, and this past year has been one of tremendous growth. Funny, loyal, and full of energy, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and staying active through sports. One of Katie's greatest strengths is her willingness to use her voice. She has become a strong advocate for herself and approaches challenges with maturity well beyond her years. She stepped outside of her comfort zone, tried new activities, excelled academically, and built meaningful friendships. She takes pride in working hard and believes in herself enough to pursue the goals she sets. What makes Katie special is her resilience. Despite life's challenges, she continues to choose joy, embraces new opportunities, and remains determined to create a bright future for herself. Her confidence, kindness, and perseverance make her truly deserving of recognition.

Katie would love an Amazon gift card that would give her the freedom to shop for makeup or a fun activity to enjoy with friends and family. Like many teenagers, she values the opportunity to make her own choices and express her personal style.
