Sara has overcome so many obstacles in her life. She works hard to be aware of the positives, trying not to dwell on the struggles. Despite all of her challenges, she remains self-confident. She lives on her own now and likes to cook and clean her own place. She has a great support system to help her get through the rough days. Having spent most of her teenage years in foster care, Sarah truly understands the difficulties of making it on her own and appreciates the importance of being self-sufficient.

Sarah wishes for a bookcase for her birthday. She loves reading and doesn’t like having to part with her favorite books because she doesn’t have a place to store them. A bookcase would give her a safe space to keep and display the books she loves most. Having a bookcase would allow Sarah to hold onto her favorite stories and reread them whenever she wants. It would also help her keep her apartment clean, organized, and feel more like home.
