KC Kansas AngelsGrant is a miracle with a story of strength that began long before he could walk or talk. Born at just 23 weeks and weighing only 1.3 pounds, Grant has been a fighter from day one. Today, he continues that fight as he navigates single kidney physiology and the loss of his right kidney, and he does it with courage that inspires everyone around him. Grant is truly his family’s little warrior. He is on the autism spectrum, and one of the ways he finds calm and comfort is through organizing and cleaning. It’s more than just tidying up — it’s how he regulates stress and brings order to his world. Grant folds his own laundry and takes great pride in putting it away himself. When he’s not organizing, you’ll find Grant building incredible worlds in Minecraft, creating masterpieces with Legos and Magnetiles, racing Hot Wheels, or laughing at Minions. He has a creative mind and loves activities that let him build, sort, and imagine.
Grant is working hard to create a comfortable and organized space of his own. As he continues to grow, he has accumulated clothing, books, toys, and other personal belongings that need a place to be stored. He is wishing for a set of storage bins to help keep his room organized and make it easier to find the things he needs. Having designated places for his belongings would help him keep his space neat and take pride in caring for his room. These would benefit Grant every day by creating a calmer, more organized environment and helping him build responsibility and independence.
