Shyla is a thoughtful and resilient girl who has learned to be strong at a very young age. She carries responsibilities and worries that most children her age should never have to face. Those who know her best describe her as kind, protective, and deeply devoted to her siblings. Following abandonment by her mother due to addiction, Shyla has depended on his elderly grandmother for safety and support. She understands more about the family's challenges than many realize and often worries about what will happen if she and her siblings are separated through foster care placement. Despite these hardships, Shyla continues to show remarkable determination. She enjoys activities that allow her to explore, learn, and build confidence. She enjoys opportunities to experience something new. She also enjoys cheer and expressing her creativity. She especially values spending time with her family and creating positive memories together.

Shyla loves cheerleading. Cheer has become an important part of her life, giving her a sense of confidence, belonging, and accomplishment. Through cheer, she has the opportunity to build friendships, learn teamwork, and express herself in a positive and encouraging environment. Raised by her elderly grandmother alongside her siblings, Shyla has faced challenges that no child should have to endure. Despite these obstacles, she continues to show resilience, kindness, and a positive attitude. Shyla's wish is to receive a pair of cheer shoes so she can participate fully with her cheer team.
