NM CYFD - San Juan CountySkyla is shy at first but has a lot going on beneath the surface as she learns to communicate in a world that works differently for her. She loves Cocomelon in sign language, adores princesses, and is adjusting to a new placement away from her parents.
Skyla has been in foster care for a few months. She has hearing loss and needs to travel for her audiology appointments. Skyla has a weighted blanket that she loves and uses constantly at home. Recently, she found a weighted lap blanket that can be colored on, and she would like to have this to keep her entertained during long drives to her appointments.
