Malcolm is a bright, determined young man with a love for basketball. Although he has some developmental delays, he has never let that stand in the way of his goals. After spending time in foster care, he is now living in a supervised Independent Living Program while continuing to build his future. Malcolm has been accepted to play basketball at a university and is working hard toward earning his college degree. He dreams of one day playing in the NBA and is committed to doing everything he can to make that dream a reality. His perseverance, positive attitude, and dedication continue to inspire those around him.

Malcolm recently moved into his very own apartment, and he is excited to have a place to call home. He worked hard in his Independent Living program, and his dedication paid off when he received a housing voucher for subsidized housing. When Malcolm moved in, he had only a bed and a small dresser. He is wishing for a TV for his bedroom so he can relax by playing video games and watching his favorite shows after work and school. As he balances both responsibilities while building an independent life, this support would help make his new apartment feel more like home.
