Deanna is a great mother who aged out of care and is looking forward to returning to school to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. She had to take time away from education to attend to a family crisis and later to care for her newborn son. She loves working with kids and hopes to make an impact on the next generation in her community. Deanna spends her spare time ensuring her son has a safe, happy environment in which to thrive.

Deanna is due to deliver her second child this Fall, and this time, she's determined to do things differently. After a difficult postpartum experience with her first child, Deanna knows firsthand how much the right support and preparation can matter in those early days. This time around, she'll be caring for a newborn while also raising her older child, adding even more responsibility and less time to rest. A postpartum kit would give her the essentials she needs to be ready for the hospital stay and the critical first days at home, so she can focus on healing, bonding with her newborn, and protecting her mental well-being instead of scrambling to find what she needs. Providing this kit will ensure Deanna's recovery and her baby's earliest days are a little smoother, while also giving her the chance to truly prioritize herself this time, too.
