Abbie has been in and out of the foster care system for most of her life and is now going to stay with her brothers. While this transition is exciting, Abbie is still a little nervous. For Abbie, reading and writing have always been a huge escape. She dreams of one day becoming an author, creating wonderful stories for others to find comfort in.

Throughout her life, reading, writing, and escaping into new worlds have always been a huge source of comfort for Abbie. Books and stories have given her a place to relax, dream, and momentarily step away from the challenges and changes around her. With this new transition right around the corner, Abbie’s wish for headphones would give her a way to continue finding that sense of sanctuary through audiobooks and music. Whether she is listening to a favorite story or enjoying music that helps her feel calm and happy, having headphones of her own would provide Abbie with a comforting space to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the things she loves most.
