Naomi has had quite the journey. She was separated from her mother, the only family she's ever known, and she was first placed in an emergency shelter. She spent time in a group home before moving in with her grandmother. Naomi has finally reunited with her family, and she is happy. She hopes to one day attend cosmetology school and become a hairdresser.

Naomi is enrolled in a GED program and working hard to complete her tests. However, transportation has become a significant barrier since her bus route changed, leaving her without reliable access to her classes. Without a vehicle, she struggles to attend consistently. An electric scooter would be life-changing for her, providing a reliable and independent way to commute to her Technical Adult Education classes. Familiar and comfortable with using scooters, Naomi believes this is the most practical solution to ensure she maintains attendance and continues making progress toward her GED.
