Silver Lining MentoringPip is a creative, driven young person who spent a significant amount of time in foster care. Having overcome great personal challenges, Pip now works to inspire others in the system to welcome volunteer mentors into their own lives. They dream of earning a college degree and entering a career in STEM. In their spare time, Pip enjoys dabbling in sculpture, such as making character masks from natural materials, and going on walks with their mentor.
After a stretch of housing instability, Pip finally has a place of their own and is working to make it feel like home. A coffee maker would let them keep up their favorite morning ritual and settle in one cup at a time.
