James was previously placed in a residential facility but has been with his current foster dad for almost two years. James plans to stay with his foster dad until he emancipates. James is helpful around the house and enjoys helping his foster dad outside. He participates in the agency’s independent living program and has been trying to find a job.

James is a motivated young man who is hard at work developing his independent living skills. Since he does not have a permit or driver's license yet, having his own bicycle will give him a reliable way to commute to work when his foster dad is unavailable. Receiving a bike will help James maintain his job, gain transportation independence, and continue working toward his future goals.
