Ricardo is an amazing young man. He unfortunately experienced a failed adoption. Ricardo has had suicidal ideation in the past, and his family thought it was best for him to be placed out of the home. In spite of this, Ricardo has a very optimistic outlook on life and his future. He is currently placed in a shelter and was able to graduate high school with honors. He is very independent and wants to succeed in life.

Ricardo is aging out of the program this November when he turns twenty-one, right as he transitions into his own apartment. He relies on music as an essential way to manage everyday stress, so a Bluetooth speaker would give him that outlet in his new home. For someone stepping into full independence, this small gift would support his mental health during a big life transition.
