Grateful to his former caseworker for nurturing this passion, he connected with a nonprofit organization advocating for systemic change within the system. Now, as a full-time university student pursuing a degree in psychology, Niko is dedicated to using his lived experiences to help others, striving to remind them that they are strong, intelligent, valued, and loved.

Niko is dedicated to creating lasting reform within the foster care system, and he is currently working hard to earn his degree at university. Without a personal computer, he often finds himself spending hours at the university library to complete his coursework. Niko dreams of having a reliable desktop PC, which would provide him with the freedom and comfort to work on his studies from home.
