David is a gamer. He loves video games and sports. He plays basketball, baseball, and track. David is in a kinship placement, along with some of his cousins, but they are just like siblings. He is a polite young man and a hard worker. David does very well in school and is on the A/B Honor Roll.

David is the last in his family without a fishing kayak, which means he's often left out when everyone else heads out for a float. Having his own would let him finally join in, spending real time on the water with the people he loves. It would also give him the freedom to fish solo along the local river whenever he wants, something he already loves doing but hasn't been able to do on his own terms. More than just a way to fish, it would give David a sense of belonging with his family and friends, as well as the independence to explore and relax on the water in his own way.
