A Greater HopeLaNy has recently moved to an unfamiliar area and hasn’t seen her parents in about a month. Her parents are experiencing hard times and are currently homeless. Neither of them is working, leaving LaNy feeling lost.
LaNy has been uprooted and is doing her best to find stability amid a lot of change. Something as simple as a few books she genuinely enjoys, along with toys that help her stay active and burn off energy, could go a long way in helping her feel more comfortable as she adjusts to a new school environment. LaNy loves reading and thrives when she has an outlet to move and play, so having both would give her a sense of normalcy and something to look forward to during an otherwise uncertain time.
