Eric was recently diagnosed with Autism. Eric communicates without words, but his twin brother and mother understand him well. He is gentle and curious about his surroundings. Eric has seen a lot of traumatic events and emotions around him. He loves playing with anything technology and gets excited while looking at picture books.

Eric is wishing for his own durable learning tablet. As Ernesto's twin brother, he enjoys many of the same activities, but at his young age, sharing and waiting for a turn can still be difficult, sometimes leading to frustration as he continues developing his emotional regulation skills. Their grandmother would love for each twin to have their own tablet so they can learn and enjoy calm time side by side without the stress that comes from sharing one device. Eric could use his tablet for educational games, early learning activities, and quiet entertainment when he needs to settle and relax. Having one of his own would give him a positive outlet that's entirely his own, while also helping to create calmer routines at home as their grandmother works with both boys on patience, independence, and emotional regulation.
