Stella is a bright, bubbly baby girl with a gummy smile and bright hazel eyes. She loves music and all things Bluey. She is learning to walk, feed herself, and maintain her balance. Stella continues to receive extensive care due to ongoing medical issues, including frequent follow-up appointments with multiple specialists. She has developed a trauma response to medical providers following repeated needle sticks, examinations, and long hospital stays.

Stella would benefit from having access to a tablet during her lengthy medical appointments, frequent car rides, and periods of waiting associated with her ongoing medical care. Stella continues to undergo evaluation for an unknown medical condition and has required numerous appointments with specialists. These visits can be long and stressful for a young child. A tablet would provide Stella with a familiar and soothing distraction through age-appropriate shows, music, books, and educational activities. These activities can help keep her calm, occupied, and comfortable during extended appointments, procedures, and travel.
