Heaven has been in the foster care system for most of her life. She has lived in foster homes, but most recently, she spent several years in different group home placements. She has little contact with family, and the person she is closest to (her sister) lives out of state. Heaven recently moved into her first apartment, despite being incredibly scared. She is learning how to be more independent and is struggling with being alone in her apartment in a new city.

One thing Heaven and her sister used to do regularly while Heaven was in foster care was stream TV shows and movies together on the weekends. Because they live far apart, this became a special way for them to spend quality time together and maintain their close relationship. Since moving into her own apartment, Heaven has not been able to continue this tradition because she does not have a television, and her phone does not always work properly for streaming. Being able to watch their favorite shows and movies together virtually is something Heaven truly misses and would like to continue. For Heaven, a TV would be a special way to maintain her relationship with her sister.
